Building Our Float

1st you take one well used school bus whose service had reached it's peak in the school system.

2nd, you find a place to store it while the transition occurs.

3rd, you quietly creep around to the back door of the bus to inspect the interior.

4th, you climb aboard the bus very cautiously and begin searching for any left over children that might have stowed away. Once you have determined that the bus is clear, you may begin removing all interior seats and remaining items not necessary aboard the float.
** HINT ** (leave the engine where it is!)

5th, Once you have a plan, you hack, you slash, you cut, you tear, you bend, fold and mutilate, bleed, curse a little, then you weld and shape and at last you paint. Then as if by magic, a Float takes shape.

6th, you apply a lot of elbow grease and a few thousand rough cut cypress boards screwed lovingly in place, and low and behold, "there's a fort in there!"

7th, you trim and cut and make everything fit just right making sure you don't fall off the ladder.

8th, you cut a few cannon portals, you install one bell, a couple of restrooms (NOTE: the last item is very important !!) , a few bars for the stockade....

9th, you add cannons, a little fringe along the bottom, a light here and there...

Finally, you add signs, and all of a sudden,
all the sweat and pain was worth every ounce of what you put into it.
